- 12 large pasta shells
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1.5 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 0.5 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 0.25 cup fresh basil, chopped
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Boil water in a large pot, add a pinch of salt, and cook pasta shells until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until no longer pink. Drain excess fat.
- Stir in garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and fresh basil into the cooked beef mixture; simmer for a few minutes.
- In a bowl, combine ricotta cheese with half the mozzarella and Parmesan until smooth.
- Stuff each shell with the beef mixture followed by the cheese filling.
- Arrange stuffed shells in a baking dish, cover with marinara sauce and remaining mozzarella.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until bubbly and golden.
