Description

Hearty Beef-Stuffed Pasta Shells are a comforting and satisfying dish that combines tender pasta shells filled with savory beef and creamy cheeses, all topped with rich marinara sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 large pasta shells
  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1.5 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 0.5 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 0.25 cup fresh basil, chopped
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Boil water in a large pot, add a pinch of salt, and cook pasta shells until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until no longer pink. Drain excess fat.
  4. Stir in garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and fresh basil into the cooked beef mixture; simmer for a few minutes.
  5. In a bowl, combine ricotta cheese with half the mozzarella and Parmesan until smooth.
  6. Stuff each shell with the beef mixture followed by the cheese filling.
  7. Arrange stuffed shells in a baking dish, cover with marinara sauce and remaining mozzarella.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until bubbly and golden.
