  • 1 bag (16 oz) frozen pierogi
  • 1 lb smoked kielbasa, sliced
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cups potatoes (about 2 medium), diced
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Sauté onions in a skillet over medium heat until translucent. Add sliced kielbasa and brown slightly.
  2. Layer frozen pierogi in the crockpot, followed by half of the sautéed onion-kielbasa mix. Sprinkle with half of the cheese and seasonings. Repeat layers.
  3. Place diced potatoes on top and mix sour cream with seasonings; dollop over the dish.
  4. Cook on low for 6-8 hours until flavors meld.
  5. Sprinkle remaining cheese on top 30 minutes before serving.
