- 3–4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1/2 cup hot honey
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Butter for frying
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, salt, and pepper. Cut in cold butter until crumbly. Stir in buttermilk until just combined.
- Turn dough onto a floured surface, knead gently, roll to 1-inch thickness, and cut out biscuits.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
- While biscuits bake, season chicken with salt and pepper. Fry in heated oil until golden brown and cooked through (about 6-8 minutes per side).
- Drizzle hot honey over cooked chicken and assemble by placing chicken inside warm biscuits.
