  • 1 ciabatta bread loaf
  • 4 oz salami, thinly sliced
  • 4 oz capicola, thinly sliced
  • 4 oz provolone cheese, sliced
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/2 small red onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 cups romaine lettuce, washed and dried
  • 1/4 cup basil pesto

Instructions

  1. Slice the ciabatta bread horizontally and lightly toast if desired.
  2. Layer the salami and capicola evenly on the bottom half of the bread.
  3. Add slices of provolone cheese on top of the meats.
  4. Scatter halved cherry tomatoes and red onion slices over the cheese.
  5. Place romaine lettuce on top for added crunch.
  6. Generously spread basil pesto over the top half of the ciabatta.
  7. Close the sandwich and press gently to seal it in.
