Ingredients

  • 1 can (15 oz) chickpeas, drained and rinsed
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley or cilantro, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp olive oil (for cooking)

Instructions

  3. Form the mixture into small patties about 1/2 inch thick using slightly damp hands.
  4. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook the patties for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
