- 2 cups Honeycrisp apples, peeled and sliced
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 4 tbsp butter, melted
- 1 package (14 oz) pie crusts (store-bought or homemade)
- Optional: 1 egg (for egg wash)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the sliced apples, sugar, cinnamon, lemon juice, and melted butter. Toss until well coated.
- Roll out the pie crusts on a floured surface to about 1/8 inch thick. Cut into circles approximately 4 inches in diameter.
- Place about one tablespoon of apple filling in the center of each circle. Fold over and seal edges using fingers or a fork.
- Arrange on the baking sheet, brush with egg wash if desired, and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
