  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups marinara sauce (homemade or store-bought)
  • 1 pound cooked ground beef or sausage (or turkey for a lighter option)
  • 1 cup mixed vegetables (diced bell peppers, onions, or zucchini)
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Boil salted water in a large pot and cook spaghetti until al dente (8-10 minutes). Drain and set aside.
  3. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef or sausage (5-7 minutes), then add mixed vegetables and cook until tender.
  4. Stir in marinara sauce and simmer for 5 minutes to meld flavors.
  5. In a large bowl, combine cooked spaghetti with eggs, Parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
  6. Grease a pie dish and layer half of the spaghetti mix at the bottom. Add half of the meat sauce followed by dollops of ricotta cheese. Top with remaining spaghetti mix.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown and bubbling. Let cool slightly before slicing.
