Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, cream together softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy, about 3 minutes. Add eggs one at a time, mixing in the vanilla extract.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until well combined.
- Add green food coloring until you reach your desired shade.
- Scoop dough onto prepared baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are golden but centers remain soft.
- Allow cookies to cool slightly on sheets before transferring them to wire racks.
